Pay Rate: 3+ Months
Duration: $31.00 /hour

Job Description
Responsible for administering customer rebates and external commissions per contractual agreements. Supports the Accounting Manager – Rebates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the administration of accruals and payments of customer sales related rebates in accordance with contractual terms
• Responsible for the administration of accruals for internal and external sales related commissions in accordance with contractual terms
• General ledger accounting, journal entry preparation / input
• Review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and perform income statement account analysis
• Assist in monthly financial reporting and closing process
• Ability to read and understand customer contracts
• Engage business unit personnel as needed
• Ad hoc projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2 – 4 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Month end close experience
• Able to collaborate in a team environment
• Sets priorities, establish objectives/milestones and schedule activities effectively
• High level of Microsoft Office proficiency with preferably intermediate level of Excel skills
• JD Edwards experience a plus
