CNC Machinist/Programmer (1st shift) Full Time

PrideNow is looking to hire MULTIPLE CNC Programmers for our partner in Buffalo, NY! Our partner is one of the top custom CNC Machining operations in the area! This is a 1^st shift, direct hire opportunity! Our partner works with some top fortune 500 companies to support capital equipment projects that range in variety! As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, programming via MASTERCAM, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

To ensure success as a CNC Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. Ultimately, a top-class CNC programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Program machinery using MasterCam
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ Years CNC Machining Experience 
• 2+ Years Experience in CNC Programming using MASTERCAM
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.

Preferred Skills: 

• 5+ Years of CNC Machining Experience 
• 5+ Years experience with CNC Programming using MASTERCAM 
• Technical Degree from secondary schooling 

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $25  and $40 per hour at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other sponsored benefit programs offered by this client
